During the spring lockdown I was very lucky to be able to walk my dog in a private Meadow, and in the late spring afternoons we would be witness to the most beautiful show of Swallows feeding on the wing over the wild flowers. They would swoop so close to us then dart away, catching flys with such amazing agility. It was a wonder to watch and listen to their soothing twittering and chatting.
I, like many people, believe that they herald the beginning spring, and I am certainly keen on their return…
