“We had been looking for some art work for a couple of years and just couldn’t find the right piece - we actually had no idea what we really wanted but I was convinced that we would know once we found it! By chance we came across Danni’s work and were really captivated by an abstract, ‘Gilded Skies’, which was perfect except it was too small for the place we wanted to put it. “Having known and bought work from Danni before, we knew when we wanted to commission a piece it would be to Danni that we would turn.
We had a big wall space and wanted to commission a large sea related piece of art which would bring back memories of holidays and be a striking centrepiece. We approached Danni with our idea and had a relaxed, collaborative discussion with Danni about her ideas for the piece based on what we had told her and she let us know what the price would be. Danni then produced sketches which we viewed together and we all discussed the finer details (and also ordered some more of her work!). When we received the final work we were delighted with the skill, creativity and subtlety with which Danni had tackled our brief. Danni made the whole process as smooth and enjoyable as it could possibly be; it was a great experience and we couldn’t be happier with the result - the finished piece is stunning.
