‘Initial Singularity’

‘Initial Singularity’
The initial singularity refers to a theoretical state at the very beginning of the universe in which densities, temperatures, and spacetime curvature become infinite.
In cosmology it is often associated with the Big Bang as an extrapolation backward in time from observable expansion, though many physicists treat the singularity more as a sign that general relativity is incomplete.
It's the theoretical starting point of the universe, a moment when all matter, energy, and spacetime were compressed into an infinitesimally small point.
My ‘Initial Singularity’ is 850mm diameter and is painted and gilded on 6mm toughened, polished edge glass, the work is reverse painted in a pallet of red and umber with hints of gold and copper micas and is gilded in copper leaf.
Weight: 12kg
Hanging: Invisible floating frame (please visit F.A.Q for more information on hanging)
